Adenike Adeyemi (M) – Exeutive Director, FATE Foundation

Adenike Adeyemi (Exeutive Director, FATE Foundation) recently looked in on the Youth Business International (YBI) Bootcamp in London,

YBI is a growing global network of over 60 enterprise support organisations with a passion for empowering underserved young people (18-35 years old) to start, scale and sustain their businesses.

Themed “Uniting young entrepreneurs as a force for good”, the workshop presented an excellent opportunity for Ms. Adeyemi to connect with some of FATE Foundation’s really inspiring entrepreneurs, including:

  • Babajide Oluwase , CEO of Ecotutu and YBI Trustee, who was one of the 2022 finalists of the Global Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Awared for the category of Covid Resilience Award.
  • Adaeze Akpagbula , Founder of Farmspeak Technology Limited, who has been nominated for the 2024 Climate Entrepreneurship Award; and
  • Uche Kenneth Udekwe, Founder of Natal Cares, who was nominated to attend the Bootcamp.

Says Adenike:

Great to also catch up with Akinwunmi Akowonjo, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Manager at YBI.

We are delighted to see our entrepreneurs making a positive impact and contributing to the global conversation on the role of entrepreneurship in driving social and economic change.
