This prestigious award celebrates outstanding individuals and organisations transforming Africa’s agriculture and food systems – and presents an opportunity to recognise and support the innovators driving sustainable growth and food security across the continent.
Nominees should exemplify excellence in areas such as food security, sustainability, and economic development within African farming communities.
The deadline for nominations is June 30, 2025.
The announcement of the laureate is scheduled to take place during the Africa Food Systems Forum, set for September 2025. This forum serves as a pivotal gathering for stakeholders across the agricultural spectrum to discuss and strategize on advancing Africa’s food systems.
