Maryam Bello wins the UNDP Youth4Climate Solutions $20,000 Prize! #SocialImpact

Founder of Parkers Mobile Clinic, Maryam Bello, was recently thrilled to announce her win of of a US$20,000 grant under the UNDP Youth4Climate Sparking Solutions Challenge, making her the youngest shortlisted candidate out of the 100 projects presented, as well as the youngest winner.

The winning project, “Parker’s Resilient Healthcare,” focuses on building a robust healthcare system that provides remote healthcare consultations, monitoring, diagnostics, and essential healthcare services to those affected by climate change. This includes women, children, underserved communities, displaced individuals, and people living with disabilities.

The UNDP Youth4Climate Call for Solutions is an initiative that allows young people to present their projects in four thematic areas: Urban Resilience, Energy, Food & Agriculture, and Education.
