(M) Abimbola Adebakin (Founder & CEO, Advantage Health Africa)M) with industry colleagues

For Abimbola Adebakin (Founder & CEO, Advantage Health Africa), it was double celebrations on November 20, 2023 – her birthday and the launch of The Advantage (an intuitive platform that assists pharmacists — including those with limited technological expertise — in managing their operations, from procurement right through to after-sales).

On this singular platform, pharmacies are able to unify and track pharmaceutical operations that typically cover procurement, payments, logistics, inventory management, finance and control, people development, merchandising, sales and after-sales, and customer management (retaining medical records for possible consultations with a doctors when necessary).

An additional feature soon to be available to users on The Advantage platform, is the Playbook, which will provide health advice and remedies for over 100 common medical conditions, through a simple search function.

The theme for the launch event was appropriately tagged, “Leveraging access to resources and technology to build an inclusive healthcare ecosystem.”
