El Mahdi Aboulmanadel (Founder & CEO, DeepLeaf – Morocco: An AI-driven agritech company transforming crop health monitoring with a technology that detects over 700 crop diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies across 30+ crops, with 96% accuracy. It achieves this by analysing a single image of an infected leaf or fruit, while actively integrating drone technology into its AI-powered crop monitoring solutions.
Uzochukwu Mbamalu (Founder Manamuz Electric/ Coldbox Store – Nigeria): OTACCWA (Organisation for Technology Advancement of Cold Chain in West Africa) says Nigeria needs 5000 cold trucks and 100 cold rooms to curb an annual 3.5 trillion Naira of post-harvest loss. Coldbox Store produces cost-effective solar-powered cold storage units designed to help farmers preserve their perishable produce. They also provide a digital market platform that connects farmers to markets for better prices. helping Nigerian farmers reduce post-harvest loss, boost income, and improve food security.
Sokayna Bellam(Co-Founder, Jodoor – Morocco): An AgriTech startup that designs, manufactures and commercialises turnkey soilless farms that can produce 100+ varieties of organic vegetables, while saving 80% water and 60% fertilisers. Benefits of Jodoor hydroponic solutions include year-round cultivation, space efficiency through vertical farming techniques, pesticide-free produce (because controlled environments reduce the need for chemical pesticides, resulting in healthier crops), and economic opportunities through the Jodoor franchise model
Dr. Oluwatomisin Kolawole (Founder & CEO, Vinsighte Technology – Nigeria): Visis is an AI-powered assistive reading technology developed by Nigerian startup Vinsighte to support individuals with visual impairments, including blindness, dyslexia, and ADHD. The tool converts printed text and visual information into audio, enabling users to independently access books, documents, and their surroundings. The offline functionality of Visis means it operates without internet access, making it suitable for areas with limited connectivity.
Zouaoui Haythem (Founder, ZCare – Tunisia): Healthtech startup ZCare is pioneering the use of AI-powered 3D-printed surgical guides. Its platform transforms 2D medical imaging into patient-specific 3D models, enabling surgeons, pre-surgery, to practice and plan for enhanced precision, reduce risks, and optimise surgical outcomes. These guides are tailored to the individual anatomy of each patient, enabling surgeons to execute complex procedures with greater accuracy and confidence. ZCare is used in orthopaedics, neurology, and maxillofacial surgery.
Neila Meknassi (Founder, Boowme – Morocco): Startup Boowme, has developed a culturally attuned dating and relationship coaching platform that leverages AI to facilitate meaningful connections that are particularly sensitive to nuances of Arab culture. The app has integrated the world’s first anti-ghosting feature that ensures conversations are never abruptly terminated. Since its launch, Boowme has achieved over 300,000 downloads, facilitated over 2 million meaningful matches, and contributed to the formation of 5,000 relationships.
Charles Avis A. (Founder & CEO, Fuspay Technology – Nigeria): Fintech startup, Fuspay Technology is providing the essential tools to build, launch, and scale financial products effortlessly. Its ‘whitelabel online banking solution’ enables entrepreneurs and businesses to launch their own digital banks in under 30 minutes—offering seamless cross-border transfers, utility payments, virtual cards, built-in KYC, stock purchases, and more. Fuspay says it can help founders – whether tech-savvy or developer-led – save over $50,000 and 18 months in development costs and time.
Mahmoud El Bouyahyaoui (Founder, nabta.ma – Morocco): Nabta.ma is Morocco’s first AI-powered platform transforming agriculture with cutting-edge services. Its advanced plant disease detection tool can instantly identify and diagnose over 33,000 plant conditions.
