This year’s LIVE pitch competition for the Top-12 finalists will be held at the Africa Food Systems Forum (AFS Forum)Â to be hosted in Senegal August 31 – September 05 (details here).
Most of you know I am one of the co-founders of the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize and I understand from our prize management team that many online applications are still only filled out about 75% so far, but not yet submitted…
Now I know some of you are still polishing up your answers or doing your homework… but the clock is ticking!
Judging criteria include: innovation, management and leadership team, market potential and traction, social and environmental impact, and business model. eligible businesses can be from within africa’s whole agrifood value chain, all the way “from seed to fork.”
Prize money includes a $50,000 grand prize for one male and one female winner plus $60,000 in Impact prizes for Agripreneurs with innovative solutions, especially in key areas like job creation, food security, nutrition, climate-friendly solutions, emerging agri-technologies, and equitable economic growth. Finalists also get to take part in training programs, the GoGettaz community, and an investor deal room.
