Founded in 2010 by Olagoke and Abimbola Balogun, So Fresh, Nigeria’s leading healthy food chain, has experienced remarkable growth since inception, consistently serving up a diverse menu of fresh, nutrient-rich meals that include salads, juices, smoothies, wraps, and parfaits.

Humble beginnings

Financially, So Fresh has attracted significant investment to support its expansion. In 2018, the company secured a $360,000 equity investment to fuel its growth. By 2022, So Fresh had raised a total of $418,000 in funding, indicating continued investor confidence in its business model. ​

Revenue estimates suggest that So Fresh generates approximately $20.3 million annually, with an estimated revenue per employee of $175,000. This financial performance underscores the company’s success in meeting the growing demand for healthy dining options in Nigeria.​

Olagoke Balogun

Beyond its commercial achievements, So Fresh is committed to social impact. The company has created approximately 160 direct jobs and over 500 indirect jobs, supporting local farmers and artisans through its supply chain. By promoting healthy eating habits, So Fresh has become a catalyst for wellness in Nigeria, inspiring a movement towards healthier lifestyles.​
