Call for Speakers: TEDx ABSU Uturu (deadline June 07, 2024)

TEDx ABSU Uturu is calling on interested speakers to apply for a spot on the conference.

To apply, potential speakers are to send an email to writing.tedx@gmail.com with details and a sample of the subject they wish to speak on. The email format should adhere to the following.

  • Email Subject – TEDx ABSU Uturu (please do not include anything else as the subject);
  • Email Body – The applicant’s full name and phone number, and a description of why you would like to be a TEDx Speaker (in not less than 200 words, and not more than 500 words);
  • Email Attachment – A photograph of the applicant (for purposes of identification) and most importantly, an attached sample (document)of the applicant’s chosen subject, with a write-up of not more than 1,000 words.

The deadline for submitting applications is June 07, 2024.

Submissions received after the deadline will be not be considered. Every submission received will be thoroughly scrutinised and successful applicants will be reached out to with details of engagement.

TED Talks are short presentations that share knowledge and research from experts on a variety of topics. TEDx events are TED-like talks that are locally organised by passionate volunteers around the world. The goal of a TED Talk is to inform and educate global audiences in an accessible way. Scientists, researchers, technologists, business leaders, artists, designers and other world experts take the TED stage to present “Ideas Worth Spreading”: valuable new knowledge and innovative research in their fields.
