Never mind that the stunning IWC Portugieser will set you back $66,500. Yet American Fiction star, Sterling K. Brown, wore two different ones within a space of weeks – first, a hand-wound tourbillion on January 09, 2024, to the Governors Awards (an annual award ceremony hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences), and then a perpetual calendar to the Oscars Nominee lunch on February 12, 2024.

The timepiece features a 44.2 mm white-gold case, a dazzling navy dial, and a black alligator strap by Santoni. Under the sapphire lies a beautiful blue dial with displays for the date, day, month, year, and perpetual moon phase. Powered by an automatic, self-winding movement (Caliber 52611), the watch offers a bonkers power reserve of seven days. It will also keep the correct day and date until the year 2100.
