From a competitive pool of 56 startups in the Digital Incubator, three incredible teams from Sub-Saharan Africa have emerged amongst the Top 22 startups selected to join the prestigious in-person Hult Prize Global Accelerator at Ashridge House in the United Kingdom for four weeks, over the Summer.
The trailblazing teams representing Africa are:

The Global Grand Finale of the Hult Prize 2025 is scheduled to take place in London in September 2025. This is where the top finalists from around the world will compete for the coveted US $1 million seed investment award
The Hult Prize is one of the world’s most prestigious student-led social entrepreneurship competitions, often referred to as the “Nobel Prize for students.” Founded in 2009 by Ahmad Ashkar in partnership with Bertil Hult (founder of EF Education First) and the United Nations, the prize challenges university students globally to build scalable, impact-driven startups that address critical social issues aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Each year, the competition revolves around a pressing global theme — from food security to clean energy to youth unemployment — and culminates in a Global Finals, where the winning team receives $1 million in seed funding to launch their venture.
