In today’s unpredictable financial landscape, making smart investment choices is essential for securing long-term wealth.

Certified financial instructor Jennifer Awirigwe (Founder of Fintribe), popularly known as Financial Jennifer. has consistently guided Nigerians toward informed financial decisions.

For Nigerians looking for a safe and rewarding way to grow their savings, Financial Jennifer recommends the Federal Government Savings Bond (FGN Savings Bond) as an excellent opportunity. With a minimum investment of just ₦5,000, this government-backed bond encourages financial discipline while offering competitive returns.

She goes into detail:

âś…1. What is FGN savings Bond?
This is an investment offer from the Federal government to encourage savings culture.

âś…2. How much do I need to invest in it?
You can invest as little as 5k. You can invest whatever you can afford. But not more than 50M
The more you invest, the more reasonable your interest will be.

âś…3. How do I get interest?
Interest is paid quarterly.
If you invest 100k and interest rate is 17%, your total interest will be 17k.
This 17k will be splitted into 4, ie every quarter, you will receive 4,500 . On maturity, you get back your 100k

âś…4. How long is the investment?
It comes in 2 duration, 2 years or 3 years. You choose the one you prefer.
This means for 2 or 3 years, you will be receiving interest. Then after 2 or 3 years, you will receive your capital back.

âś…5. When is this offer available?
It comes up once every month. Usually first week of the month. The one for March went live yesterday. It will close on Friday morning.

Interest rate:
2 years – 16.636%
3 years – 17.636%

âś…6. How can I invest?
Through any investment house. Afrinvest has an investment link you can follow, if you need it, comment LINK and I will share with you.

Through her platform, Jennifer breaks down complex investment options into clear, actionable advice, helping individuals make strategic financial moves.
