Despite the challenging funding landscape across Africa, Tunisia stands out as a resilient ecosystem where innovative startups continue to flourish. From fintech platforms advancing financial inclusion to AI-driven solutions revolutionizing language processing Tunisian entrepreneurs are making their mark on the global startup scene.

Here are the country’s biggest rounds in 2024:

  • Wattnow, led by Issam Smaali: Multi-million dollar round
  • Konnect Networks, led by Amin Ben Abderrahman: $1.3 million + undisclosed funding from Renew Capital
  • Cynoia, led by Nassreddine RIAHI and Ayoub Rabeh: $1.3 million
  • Seabex, led by Amira Cheniour, Taher Mestiri, and Ines Hamida: $1 million
  • GigsDesk, led by Koussay Noomene, Nabil Amara, and Iyed Ghribi: $600,000
  • Clusterlab, led by Haithem kchaou and Chehir Dhaouadi: $600,000
  • MONSAPO, led by Sabrine Chennaoui and HATEM HAMDI: $196,000
