A proposal at the Paralympic Village! 🏡 💍
On Thursday (August 29), at the Olympic Village, and with the 2024 Paris Paralympics well underway, Spanish para triathlete Lionel Morales Gonzalez asked his long-time girlfriend Jessica to marry him (see video above).Â
The 50-year-old was seen pulling off the act in front of the Paralympic village dining hall by getting down on one knee and asking his partner, Jessica, for her hand in marriage. Jessica did not hesitate for a second before saying yes!
Lionel Morales, who was victim of a motorcycle accident in 1997, will compete in the men’s triathlon event, scheduled to take place on September 1, 2024. With his indomitable fighting spirit, he had competed in the para-triathlon at the Rio Olympics 2016, finishing seventh in the race – a position Lionel will look to upgrade in his second Olympic outing in Paris.
