Meekam K. Mgbenwelu

Numeris Media are delighted to announce the appointment of Meekam K. Mgbenwelu as Editor-at-Large.

Anne Agbakoba (Founder & CEO, Numeris Media) gives an insight into Meekam’s pedigree:

With a distinguished background spanning technology, innovation, policy, and development, Meekam brings 20+ years of deep expertise and a unique lens to the entrepreneurial stories shaping Africa’s future. His career has bridged the worlds of inclusion, public policy, digital transformation, and knowledge economies—making him an ideal voice in our mission to spotlight African founders and the ecosystems that support them.

In his new role, Meekam will contribute thought-provoking and solution-driven essays to Bank & Entrepreneur Africa, Numeris Media’s flagship publication that highlights the brilliant work done by entrepreneurs of all genres (startups and SMEs). He will write several articles annually, tackling the practical dilemmas facing startups, SMEs, and changemakers across the continent – and proffer practical solutions.

Expect his signature blend of insight, wit, and practical wisdom—backed by years of strategic leadership in the fields of education, technology, innovation, governance, and inclusive development – all in the Opinion column of Bank & Entrepreneur Africa online.

Please join us in welcoming Meekam to the Numeris Media editorial family. We are excited to collaborate with him as we continue shaping powerful narratives for Africa’s entrepreneurial renaissance.
